What To Expect
For Children Under 12:
We’ll start with a parent-only intake session to go over important details like consent, family history, and what’s been going on. From there, I’ll meet with your child for the next 2–3 sessions to begin building trust, getting to know them, and understanding their needs through play and connection.

Once I’ve gathered a sense of what might help, we’ll meet again (just the adults) to go over observations and create a plan together. I’ll check in with you regularly along the way to share progress and make adjustments as needed. For younger kids, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are typically best for creating steady support.

For Youth 12 & up:
We’ll begin with a first session where parents/guardians are invited—and youth are welcome to join. We’ll cover basics like consent, policies, and background info. Then, I’ll spend a few sessions one-on-one with your teen to build connection and figure out what support looks like for them.

Once we have a strong foundation, we’ll come up with a plan together that reflects their goals and comfort level. Ongoing sessions can happen regularly or as needed—whatever works best to keep things feeling manageable and helpful.

For Adults:
We’ll start by getting to know each other. The first session will cover key info, consent, and what’s been bringing you in. From there, we’ll spend a few sessions building trust, exploring your goals, and identifying what’s getting in the way.

Once things feel solid, we’ll co-create a plan that supports your growth and mental wellness. We can meet weekly, bi-weekly, or on a schedule that fits your needs.
